Fake Bake 60min Tan

The Product

This is Fake Bake's express self tan liquid, which claims to build into a beautiful, natural looking golden tan in just 60 minutes. The rapid self-tan technology develops to your desired tan depth. 

This tan comes with spray nozzle attachment, professional mitt and two application gloves.

 

It has a "show where it goes" guide colour which makes application easier and streak free. 

It advises to spray the tan onto the mitt and rub in circular movements (which I do agree with) as there is no chance excess liquid on the skin which can take longer to dry or cause runs in the tan.

ALWAYS REMEMBER when tanning to prep the skin (exfoliate, moisturise & shave) the day before tanning as this will effect the outcome and results.

The Application

I found this tan to be very easy to use, the spray bottle means less mess and the mitt leaves a smooth even finish. 

I left my tan on to develop for 2hrs (I would of liked 3hrs but I run out of time), but was still over the moon with my results.

Development times 

1hr = light

2hrs = medium 

3hrs = dark 

(Not recomended for more than 3hrs)

Overall

I would recommend this tan to anyone who loves a beautiful golden tan as it fits all different lifestyle and perfect for me who just don't like having to wait 8hrs (usually overnight) and getting stained bed covers.

You may of been hearing a lot of hype about a 3D lash mascara from Younique (I did) and once I see my friends actually using it I just had to give it a try for myself. 

1st I want to start by saying I won't be using another pair of false lashes again. All the years of messing around with glue, needing someone to apply false lashes just to then lose one during a night out is now a thing of the past, this easy to use mascara is just amazing. 

I started by appling a layer of mascara gel followed by the lash fibres then another layer of mascara gel. (build them up to your own preference) 

I get lots of compliments about how long my lashes look with most people thinking they are my natural lashes. 

RRP £23, with the amount of money girls spend on lashes and mascara this works out a lot cheaper as is all in one.

I also used the lip glosses, lip liner & eye pigment shadows and have got to say I love it all.

Skinny Sprinkles

I've been on a mission for about 2 years to lose weight, get fit and try to tone up my belly since having kids. I've not done too bad, I've still got along way to go but I can notice a difference now. Along the way I have used many different methods (slim shake, fat burners etc) and altho they all have all worked, I still have that hungry feeling I between meals which is the bit I find most difficult to deal with.

How it works.

The easy way to explain it is that you drink the mixture that when it reaches your stomach it starts to swell a bit like a jelly mix making you feel fuller.

The science is a lot more cleaver, the ingredient called Glucomannan (Konjac) swells once it hits the water in your tummy and then adsorbes up to 200 times it's weight to form a gel like substance giving your the feeling of being full.

Directions

Mix sprinkles with 200ml of cold water rapidly for 30 seconds, then slowly for 1 minute. Drink within next few minutes.

My Thoughts

Firstly I have got to say I'm very impressed with how this little drink is so effective. My main time of snacking and feeling hunger pangs is in the evening as I'm usually kept busy during the day, so I only used 1 or 2 a day to stop the feeling of being hungry whilst watching telly.

Honestly I didn't expect one little drink could actually keep the need for snaking away but it's specially designed but it does just that.

I am now left wanting more as I feel this is a great aid along side other methods of weight loss or weight management.

I would recomend to anyone on a weight loss program but still finding it hard to curb the cravings as this does just that and at only 19 calories per serving its a gem.

I I was given the chance to sample the My Chelle face & neck cream.

Being the wrong side of 25 I've started to think more about my skin and how to keep it looking as youthful as I can so when I received this product and read the information about it, I was very excited to try it.

My Review

I have been using this product for about 2 weeks but I have already noticed that my skin feels smoother, a lot more hydrated and even starting to show a natural glow.

I love to apply face cream like a treatment at the spa, I apply a small amount to face/neck but I don't rub in completely as I like to lay & relax for a few minutes before massaging the remaining cream in (personal preference). The scent of this cream is very clean and crisp, the texture is a silky but thick cream yet once applied to skin feels lights and soft. (Only need a small amount as covers lovely) 

I will continue to use this cream, as I'm loving the glow it's given my skin already and hopefully I'll notice more improvements over coming weeks.

This is ideal for anyone looking to improve the appearance of their skin but in a very easy and friendly way.

My Letter From Santa

I was delighted to be asked by this company to review their premium letters from Santa.

Growing up these made my Christmas so magical, waking up to my own letter through the door, ripping it open to find a letter addressed to me from none other than Mr Claus himself. 

The Website (ordering process)

Placing the order was very straight forward, first choose the type of letter then fill in the questionnaire which have lots of questions about the named child (siblings, recent events, presents), some you type and some are drop down boxes (all marked very clearly).

You then click to next section where you fill in the delivery details (once again very simple, box inputs).

Once information is input just click to payment page & confirm.

The Delivery

When this letter arrived it was in plain envelope so very discreet, inside was a red envelope with childs name printed on the front and sealed with wax effect stamp, which makes it look very authentic.

The Letter

Inside the envelope is a very well presented (with an eye for detail) letter addressed to named child, it uses all the information you gave during ordering and forms a beautifully designed letter that any child (or Adult) would believe is actually from Santa. The paper itself is good thick quality (the sort you would expect from Mr Claus) plus it also contains a certificate for being on the nice list & a colour-me-in "Santa Stop Here" sign. 

Overall

Personally I think this is a top class letter from Santa & any child would be overly joyed at Christmas to receive one (I know mine would), I personally think they keep the magic of Christmas alive (at least for another year) before our babies grow up and stop believing.

This was a premium letter and for the price of just £5.69 + free delivery it's well worth it.

Playboy Makeup #PlayboyPinUpChallenge

I recently received some Playboy makeup to do their #PlayboyPinUpChallenge 

I thought I'd go all out with the old fashion pin up style, with I think still gorgeous today.

I did use other makeup products 1st to create a base (foundation, blusher & eyeliner)

The Mascara

Colour - Black

Called Sleek & it's exactly that, it gives a elegant light look (not to clumpy which I do like) but perfect for everyday mascara,

Although I just applied 2 layers and was totally a different look (just my own preference).

The Lipstick

Colour - Centerfold Pink

This is a very brightly baby pink colour which I also don't usually use as I'm more a bright bold red type of girl but I might just be converted as this actually stays the same colour when applied to lips. The texture is very soft and creamy which made application easy. 

The Nail Polish

Colour - Hawalian Babe

Now this is my type of nail polish, bright red and very glitz. Unfortunately I don't have my nail done so didn't get the same effect but will be using next week once nails are done (so come back for added pics) 

Overall

To be honest I never heard of Playboy branded cosmetics so was delighted to give them a try and they haven't disappointed. Although the mascara was to elegant for me with just one coat this wouldn't stop me buying again, as I love the effect after I applied two coats. The lipstick I wouldn't of ever dreamed of buying at shade of pink and once again it's changed my mind as it looks stunning on. Finally the nail polish is def one I will wear regularly as it's bright, it's red and it's very Glam.

I've really enjoyed this challenged and look forward to doing more in the future.
