Tantastic Self Tan

Well it's that time again...another self tan post (I do love my tan), this time it's from a brand called Tantastic.

The Product

I have Tantastic in liquid & mousse form,

both are paraben/alcohol free.

It claims to be an easy to apply tan, that leaves a gorgeous, quick drying instant colour that can be built up (darkened) by layering and that will last up to 7 days. 

It is 100% natural active tanning ingredients (DHA) approved by Ecocert.

Both products go on beautifully, just be careful with the liquid as it will run off the mitt if you use to much at once.

They both glide over the skin with ease to create a golden sun kissed colouring. It actually does what it claims, by drying almost straight away with the liquid and slightly longer with mousse.

I found these both to be very pleasant smelling, to the point I can only smell it, if I have skin so close it's touching my nose.

My Results 

In my opinion this self tan is ideal for all seasons, as it covers so evenly and with little smell. I would actually even wear this tan out whilst it was developing (unlike most tans).

I usually do like my tan darker but this is a great way for giving you the freedom build the colour to how you want, especially with it being Summer, you don't want to go to dark then naturally tan on top and end up looking to baked. 

I left my tan on for about 8hrs before washing off, I'm still impressed with the colour as it seams like very little washed off and I still have the beautiful colour I  applied.

Lighting is not great in this photo being as its night and no natural light but it looks gorgeous, like I've been away for a week...not out of a bottle. :o)

My Reasons For Wanting To Test

I wanted to try the 'Curl Me' because big beautiful hair is always associated with having long hair...which I don't. I don't suit neither like long hair but I do love big, volumized hair and so do a lot of celebs for that matter (here's a few)...

So I decided to give it ago for myself and wow do I love this product, it's helped me loads, especially to create different looks for different moods (that usually I can only achieve by going to the salon).

Colour B4

Colour B4 is a great way to remove unwanted hair colour at home without the risk of damage you would get using other products as this contains No ammonia or bleach.

Colour B4 comes in regular or extra strength, I used the extra strength due to me dying my hair for years and having a lot of colour build up (black of all colours).

I recently got my hair cut short again and  wanted a dramatic new colour change to go with it.

I get bored easy with my hair so this time I decided to use semi permanent colour which means I can swap and change my colour as often as I'd like. 

The Application 

It states that this solution should be applied to clean dry hair so I washed and dried my hair ready to follow the instructions as indicated on the leaflet. 

One thing I will say is the smell isn't the best (a bit like perming lotion) but if it work then I wasn't bothered.

After 60 mins I rinsed off and was pleasantly surprised with the results :o) 

It had made my hair a light ginger colour, lighter than my original but think it's because of frequent dying & bleaching (this was good for me as I'd chose to go with a bright red colour for my new look). 

My Results 

Colour B4 really helped me to achieve my new look and I am so pleased, I would say this product is now my new best friend as it gives me the freedom to change my colour whenever I like without damage to my hair (if anything it feels better than when I started).

So if your are like me and fancy a change, whether it be to strip an unwanted colour or if your looking for a change for summer then I'd recommend this product.

I've been on a mission to get fit & lose weight for a while, so when asked to review the Metaburn Fat Burners I was super excited.

My Results

Fake Bake 60min Tan

The Product

This is Fake Bake's express self tan liquid, which claims to build into a beautiful, natural looking golden tan in just 60 minutes. The rapid self-tan technology develops to your desired tan depth. 

This tan comes with spray nozzle attachment, professional mitt and two application gloves.

 

It has a "show where it goes" guide colour which makes application easier and streak free. 

It advises to spray the tan onto the mitt and rub in circular movements (which I do agree with) as there is no chance excess liquid on the skin which can take longer to dry or cause runs in the tan.

ALWAYS REMEMBER when tanning to prep the skin (exfoliate, moisturise & shave) the day before tanning as this will effect the outcome and results.

The Application

I found this tan to be very easy to use, the spray bottle means less mess and the mitt leaves a smooth even finish. 

I left my tan on to develop for 2hrs (I would of liked 3hrs but I run out of time), but was still over the moon with my results.

Development times 

1hr = light

2hrs = medium 

3hrs = dark 

(Not recomended for more than 3hrs)

Overall

I would recommend this tan to anyone who loves a beautiful golden tan as it fits all different lifestyle and perfect for me who just don't like having to wait 8hrs (usually overnight) and getting stained bed covers.

Younique

You may of been hearing a lot of hype about a 3D lash mascara from Younique (I did) and once I see my friends actually using it I just had to give it a try for myself. 

1st I want to start by saying I won't be using another pair of false lashes again. All the years of messing around with glue, needing someone to apply false lashes just to then lose one during a night out is now a thing of the past, this easy to use mascara is just amazing. 

I started by appling a layer of mascara gel followed by the lash fibres then another layer of mascara gel. (build them up to your own preference) 

I get lots of compliments about how long my lashes look with most people thinking they are my natural lashes. 

RRP £23, with the amount of money girls spend on lashes and mascara this works out a lot cheaper as is all in one.

I also used the lip glosses, lip liner & eye pigment shadows and have got to say I love it all. 

And with Christmas just around the corner I decided to try a Christmas theme eye makeup...

I've been on a mission for about 2 years to lose weight, get fit and try to tone up my belly since having kids. I've not done too bad, I've still got along way to go but I can notice a difference now. Directions

My Thoughts

Firstly I have got to say I'm very impressed with how this little drink is so effective. My main time of snacking and feeling hunger pangs is in the evening as I'm usually kept busy during the day, so I only used 1 or 2 a day to stop the feeling of being hungry whilst watching telly.

Honestly I didn't expect one little drink could actually keep the need for snaking away but it's specially designed but it does just that.

I am now left wanting more as I feel this is a great aid along side other methods of weight loss or weight management.

I would recomend to anyone on a weight loss program but still finding it hard to curb the cravings as this does just that and at only 19 calories per serving its a gem.
